Netflix releases the first trailer for Carry-On, a new thriller movie releasing in December starring Taron Egerton, Jason Bateman, and more.
“Carry-On follows a young TSA agent as he fights to outsmart a mysterious traveler who blackmails him into letting a dangerous package slip onto a Christmas Eve flight,” the synopsis for the movie reads.Egerton is known for Gary “Eggsy” Unwin in the Kingsman franchise and for voicing Johnny in the Sing movies. He’s also starred in movies such as 2016’s Eddie the Eagle, 2018’s Robin Hood, and 2023’s Tetris.
Collet-Serra most recently directed 2022’s Black Adam with Dwayne Johnson. He has also previously made movies such as 2005’s House of Wax, 2009’s Orphan, 2011’s Unknown, 2014’s Non-Stop, 2016’s The Shallows, and 2021’s Jungle Cruise, among other titles. He’s working on another movie, The Woman in the Yard, which will be released in March 2025 and also stars Deadwyler alongside Kristen Bell, Lil Rel Howery, Corey Hawkins, David Oyelowo, Okwui Okpokwasili, and more.
