AGRARIAN Reform Secretary Conrado Estrella III has convened the Presidential Agrarian Reform Council executive committee to request funds for the 2024 and 2025 programs, activities and projects of the Department of Agrarian Reform.

Estrella convened the 151 st meeting of the PARC to discuss the financial requirements of the agrarian reform program in 2024 and 2025. The requested fund of P19 billion would be used for the payment of landowners’ compensation, construction of bridges under the Pang-Agraryong Tulay para sa Bagong Bayanihan ng mga Magsasaka, farm-to-market roads, farm machineries and equipment, and educational scholarships for the children of agrarian reform beneficiaries.
