'There were lots of memories, smiles but mostly tears'
The TV presenter was found dead in her apartment after taking her own life on 15 February, just weeks before she was due to stand trial for an altercation that took place between herself and boyfriend Lewis Burton in December 2019.
Speaking to The Eastern Daily Press, Caroline's mum Christine explained that the service lasted nearly two hours. "All the family would like to say thank you so much to all Carrie's friends who travelled from all over the world to be there that day and who appreciated why we wanted to bring her back home to Norfolk.
Christine and her husband Ian and the rest of Caroline's family wore T-shirts designed by Keith Lemon, which had a photo of the late star above words that read: "Be Kind".Many of her celebrity pals who attended the funeral took to their social media pages to pay tribute to their friend, including Love Island voiceover star Iain Stirling.
