After the pictures sent the rumour mill buzzing, the former Countdown star has now responded to “affair” claims on Wednesday when she took to Twitter with a two-part rant. The videos further addressed speculation about her “cosy” encounter with the disgraced politician and I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! contestant Matt Hancock.
“I thought Carol vorderman hated Matt Hancock,” wrote one person on social media as another quipped: “What an absolute hypocrite.” "So I said, 'Oh Matt, are you into racing?' And they said, not particularly but Matt is, she said, because his constituency is in Newmarket and he's even ridden in a race."
