MANILA – Singer-actress Carol Banawa, who works as a registered nurse in the US, said life hasn't been easy for her because of the COVID-19 crisis.
“When the pandemic started, every day paiba-iba ang guidelines. Nandoon lahat ng questions. We were also in fear. Siyempre nandoon po ang possibility na maka-encounter ako ng COVID patients pero so far wala pa naman,” she said. Despite this difficulty, Banawa is more than willing to do her part in fighting this virus along with the other Filipino healthworkers all over the world.
Banawa said her job is also more bearable because she has workmates at her unit in the hospital who are also Filipinos.
