KEPALA BATAS: The organiser of the Mahabbah@Aidiladha Carnival beside a hypermarket in Bertam has been slapped with RM1,000 fine after he was found to have broken almost all the standard movement control order (MCO) guidelines.

"The 48-year-old operator failed to prepare dedicated entry and exit points or ensure sufficient social distancing at the venue.

"We found no action taken by the operator to control the number of visitors within the crowd," said North Seberang Perai OCPD Asst Comm Noorzainy Mohd Noor on Thursday .
