Kahler eked out a one-shot win over Calvin Christian High freshman Jessica Hudson. Hudson’s performance was impressive. She’s the only player on Calvin Christian’s team, played her regular-season matches with Mission Hills and was playing Torrey Pines for the first time in her life. Torrey Pines won the Division I championship. Teams may play six golfers with the top five scores counting. The Falcons finished at 67-over par for the two rounds.
