Carlos Yulo is still in disbelief, days after winning two gold medals in the 2024 Paris Olympics .Yulo won the gold medals for ruling the floor exercise and vault finals in men's gymnastics."Apat na araw na po ang nakaklipas, 'di pa rin po talaga nagsi-sink in naka gold ako, dalawa pa," Yulo said in a 24 Oras interview on Thursday.For him, winning the gold is the 'ultimate goal'"Ito na po 'yung ultimate goal, grabe, wala na po akong hinihinging iba pa ngayon.
Nag-grow ako, really grateful na di ako sumuko," he said adding that he still wants to compete in the Los Angeles Olympics in four years time.He also thanked those who supported him in his journey such as Gymnastics Association of the Philippines president Cynthia Carrion, the Philippine Sports Commission, Philippine Olympic Committee, and the MVP Sports Foundation.
