Team owner Steve Donner announced that Dothan United head coach Carl Reynolds will continue to serve in his team lead role.DOTHAN, Ala. - After an inaugural season filled with different levels of success on and off the field, the Dothan United Soccer Club is showing their commitment to the city and to their staff that have gotten them to this point..
Under Reynolds, who previously served as head coach for Spring Hill College in Mobile and director of soccer for Southern States Soccer in Hattiesburg, Mississippi before taking over as the Dragons head man, Dothan United went on to go 4-4-4 in the 2024 USL League Two’s South Central Division. “They’ve never doubted me, they’ve given me and my staff everything we needed, and now it’s time to repay them,” Reynolds said during the presser when talking about the support he has gotten leading the team from the front office and Wiregrass area fans.
Reynolds went on to say that the team is already beginning the recruiting process for the upcoming season, speaking highly of the support behind him and the team and how that is being perceived by the young players he has talked with.Donner, Reynolds and other team leaders went on to express their countless thanks to the city of Dothan, area business owners and the incredible fan support as to why the first season of pre-professional soccer in the area was so successful.
