The sale of a car on Facebook Marketplace took a turn for the worse on Wednesday afternoon.
Police identified 14-year-old Colt Gray, a student at Apalachee High School, as the gunman who killed two students and two teachers.
Columbus police told ABC 6 that a person who posed as an individual trying to purchase a car on Facebook Marketplace was taking the car for a test drive with the owner. They drove around a corner and a person appeared with a gun. The person driving the car got out of the car and fled, the owner got out unharmed.
The person with the gun drove away and stopped at a nearby T-Mobile, where the suspect walked into the store wearing a black ski mask. Officers arrived immediately and blocked the front and rear of the stolen car, at which time the suspect ran out of the store towards the Fazoli's on S. State St.A video from T-Mobile has been obtained by police, and information has been forwarded to the Delaware County Prosecutor along with an attempted robbery and weapons under disability report.
