A cargo ship loaded with hazardous goods has exploded into a huge fireball at one of China 's busiest ports.
The explosion happened at around 1.50pm local time at the Ningbo-Zhoushan Port, just south of Shanghai, on China's Pacific coastThe blast is believed to have been caused by an explosion in one of the containers on the Dong Ming ship that was docked at the port. An aerial photo posted by the broadcaster showed black smoke rising from a stack of containers at one end of the ship and from an area on the dock.The Zhejiang Province Emergency Management Administration said the ship was loaded with Class 5 hazardous materials, but it didn't say what they were.
