His fantasy becomes a reality when the band members, who are also former lovers, accept his invitation to perform a private concert at his Wallis Island residence. Old resentments resurface as Charles desperately attempts to salvage his dream gig amidst the brewing tension.The trailer offers a glimpse into the film's narrative, showcasing Mulligan as a musician stranded on the island with her ex-partner after being lured there by a wealthy fan. Mulligan is joined by a talented ensemble cast, including Tom Basden, Tim Key, Sian Clifford, and Akemnji Ndifornyen. The Ballad of Wallis Island is directed and produced by James Griffiths from a screenplay penned by Tom Basden (Plebs) and Tim Key (See How They Run).
