The charity hosted a party at Livingston Cricket Club to mark the 20th anniversary of their young carer service
Carers of West Lothian held a special anniversary event recently marked the 20th year of the charity’s young carer service.
Over the past two decades, the charity has helped hundreds of young people through its programs, services, groups and one-to-one support. To mark the occasion, the charity held a party at Livingston Cricket Club with plenty on offer for everyone. Wilma Murray, the charity’s senior young carers development worker, hailed the event, saying: “We are so proud of what we have accomplished over the past 20 years and it was so lovely to see all our young carers and staff from over the years, and seeing people interact who’ve never met previously.”
The charity would also like to thank all the volunteers and staff who helped make the day a huge success.
