Career day at many school campuses involves students meeting professionals in their dream jobs. However, for younger students, listening to speakers can be less engaging until now. During this event, younger students left their classes to explore various vehicles and equipment related to different careers. NBC 5 showcased their Texas Thunder Truck , allowing students to see the truck's dents and battle scars up close.
Students also met representatives from Dallas Animal Services and the Dallas Police Department, among others, engaging in enthusiastic conversations and expressing excitement about future visits with animals
