To celebrate their new single “WAP” becoming the first female rap collaboration in history to debut at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, the rapper sent her collaboratora custom “WAP”-themed Hermès Birkin bag as a little thank you gift. Megan posted a video of herself unboxing the new orange purse on her Instagram, saying, “I know you fuckin' lyin', girl! Bitch! Not the Birkin! Not the Houston Birkin! Wow, I'm dead.
Cardi also added a personal message to her friend across the bottom of the bag, writing, “Thank you Meg, really appreciate you,” signing it with a heart and Cardi B 2020. After the music video was released on August 7, the song was streamed over 93 million times in the first week, which is more than any track in history,
