Cardano forms a daily golden cross for the first time since August 2025, alongside Petrobras sustainability work, Japan enterprise ties and the node 11.1.3 release.
Cardano has formed a golden cross on its daily chart, with the 50-day moving average crossing above the 200-day moving average. The signal is the first daily golden cross for the altcoin since August 2025.
The same pattern appeared in August 2025 as Cardano rallied to a high of 0.92 dollars on August 14, 2025. The altcoin could not hold that peak, and selling pressure built in the following months.

In November 2025, Cardano's daily chart formed a death cross signal instead. That was followed by months of downward price action before the latest golden cross reversed the technical posture.

Cardano has produced multiple golden cross signals on hourly timeframes in the interim, but the daily chart had not confirmed one until now. Traders watch golden crosses as a sign that shorter-term momentum is improving relative to the longer-term trend, though the signal does not guarantee further gains.

Cardano was chosen as a public blockchain to guarantee the verifiability of sustainability related to aviation fuel and renewable diesel. The selection was revealed in two new Petrobras initiatives this week.

The arrangement places Cardano in a role tied to tracing and verifying sustainability attributes for fuels, an area where transparent record keeping is increasingly required. Petrobras is Brazil's state-controlled energy company.

Cardano is also deepening its enterprise presence in Japan, announcing a partnership in the country. Those enterprise and institutional efforts span energy, aviation and corporate adoption in Asia, extending beyond trading activity.

On the network side, Cardano node 11.1.3 was released this week as Dijkstra integration advances toward node version 11.2. The update fixes the IPv4 decoding behavior introduced in 11.1.2, restoring network-order decoding used prior to the 11.1.x releases.
The full 11.2 release is currently expected about two to three weeks away. It is expected to bring most of the Dijkstra scope, including the new block format and Plutus V4 context, but without Leios.
A public testnet named DijkstraNet is expected to launch with 11.2 so that ecosystem-wide testing and integration work can begin at scale. The release date for 11.3, the hard fork release candidate that will contain the full Dijkstra feature set including Leios, is yet to be determined.
On October 1, Cardano had a busy day as 43,181 transactions hit the network, marking its busiest day in the past seven days. The figure reflects continued on-chain usage as the network prepares for its next node upgrades.
Broader crypto markets also drew attention in the same period. Bitcoin reclaimed 87,000 dollars, Ripple pushed XRPL lending forward, and Shiba Inu posted its best month of 2026.
Elsewhere in the sector, Uphold launched what it described as an industry-first XRP, BTC and HBAR inheritance solution for its integrated self-custody wallet. Amaze Holdings, listed on the NYSE under the ticker AMZE, executed a binding letter of intent to acquire BullionFX and Alchemy, a decentralized gold-backed financial ecosystem, valued at 155 million dollars.
For Cardano, the combination of a fresh daily golden cross, energy-sector verification work with Petrobras, enterprise expansion in Japan and the approaching 11.2 node release gives traders and developers several distinct threads to track in the coming weeks.
