An officer at 11:58 a.m. on May 6 responded to a Lorain Road apartment building, where a resident reported his red four-door Infiniti Q50 car was stolen after Sunday, May 5, at 10:30 p.m.
The female owner came out to the vehicle on the morning of May 6 and found it missing. She still had the keys.
The female owner of the Chrysler Pacifica said she had parked the car at 6 p.m. on May 6 in her driveway and discovered the vehicle missing the next morning at 4:45 a.m. The vehicle was left unlocked but without the keys inside, she said.An officer at 5:57 p.m. on May 6 responded to Great Northern Mall where a witness pointed out a 2020 Kia Sportage that had been broken into in an apparent attempt to steal it.
Officers contacted the owner, who said she had parked the vehicle at 9:30 a.m. that morning and did not return to the vehicle until contacted by the police department.Officers at 1:42 p.m. on May 6 responded to Foot Locker regarding a female shoplifting suspect.
