Emergency crews responded to a West Philadelphia daycare early Thursday morning after a driver slammed into the side of the building.
Authorities have not said what caused the driver to slam into the building. Workers from the Philadelphia Department of License and Inspection deemed the building unsafe due to a crack in the foundation.
Neighbor Louis Olivo says there’s been incident after incident at North 56th and Vine Street since he moved into Carol Campbell Community Apartments in 2014. In 2021, he said a car crashed into their own building.
