A man has been charged over the alleged theft of car parts worth more than $250,000 from vehicles acrossThe 40-year-old man from South Australia was arrested in an allegedly stolen MG at a carpark in Springvale on Tuesday.
The investigation into the thefts started in April when police received reports a catalytic converter was stolen from a parked car in Noble Park. The man has been charged with 212 offences including theft of a motor vehicle, theft from a motor vehicle and drug offences.
