Regal Cinemas has unveiled new popcorn buckets inspired by the upcoming Marvel film, Captain America: Brave New World. The collectible buckets will feature designs based on Captain America's iconic shield, wielded by Anthony Mackie's Sam Wilson, and the menacing Red Hulk , portrayed by Harrison Ford. These unique containers are part of a comprehensive marketing campaign by Marvel Studios to immerse fans in the Captain America: Brave New World experience.
Complementing the buckets, themed plastic cups have also been revealed. Captain America: Brave New World will continue the story of Sam Wilson, who has taken up the mantle of Captain America after Steve Rogers (Chris Evans). The events of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier demonstrated Wilson's readiness to protect the world as the new Captain America, even though the world may still be grappling with the legacy of Steve Rogers. A key plot point in the sequel will be the introduction of Harrison Ford as Thaddeus 'Thunderbolt' Ross, a role previously held by the late William Hurt. Ross will now serve as the President of the United States, eventually transforming into his formidable alter ego, The Red Hulk. Directing Captain America: Brave New World is Julius Onah, known for his work on The Cloverfield Paradox and Luce. This marks Onah's first foray into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
