An artist from Cape Town is selling his dreadlocks in an effort to fund his music career. The dreadlocks were grown for 21 years and cut five years ago:
Llewellyn America is a 26-year-old reggae and dance hall music producer from Parkwood in Cape Town. His music is a blend of Jamaican Patois and Afrikaans, and he shot his first music video for a song titled ‘Ghetto’ in early 2020.‘I’ve never cut them since birth.
But at the age of 21, it was the first time that I did cut my dreadlocks,’ says America, who also goes by the name Sparta King. ‘There’s a few things I need to boost my music career. I know it’s legal and 100% natural. I’ve heard that there might be people interested in buying. So I’ve recently decided to sell them since a lot of people approached me.’Also read:
