Western Cape police are investigating the murder of a man whose decapitated body was found dumped in Beacon Valley, Mitchells Plain, on Monday night.
A decapitated body was found in Mitchells Plain in the Western Cape on Monday night.The local community policing forum said residents were disturbed by the gruesome findings, and would not rule gang-related violence as a motive for the killing.
According to a community WhatsApp group, the man's head was found by a resident two streets away, in a gift bag. "We cannot 100% say that the motive is gang-related; that is up to the police investigation to determine," Jantjies said.
