CAPE TOWN - A new tuberculosis facility in Masiphumelele township opened only two weeks ago, and already it’s at the forefront of TB transmission research worldwide.The state-of-the-art Aerobiology TB Research Facility is pinning down how tuberculosis is transmitted. According to UCT Professor Robert Wood, TB infections in the community increase at an astronomical rate.This will help identify what he calls"super-spreaders".
