Pictures presented in court reveal a cannabis farm discovered in a flat in Huyton, which was allegedly the 'centre of operations' for the plotters involved in the shooting that killed Ashley Dale. The farm had been dismantled by the time police raided the property, but remnants including two plants and cultivation equipment were found.

This is the cannabis farm found inside the "centre of operations" where the shooting that killed Ashley Dale was allegedly plotted.

One of the bedrooms of the apartment appeared to have been repurposed for the growing of cannabis. By the time the property had been searched, only "remnants" of the farm - including two plants, waste materials and cultivation equipment such as lighting units - were left behind, located inside a tent.

Mr Greaney told a jury of five men and seven women during the prosecution's opening earlier this month that Witham and "driver" Peers, were "dispatched" to assassinate Harrison and "leave no witnesses". They had allegedly received their orders from Barry, Zeisz and Ian Fitzgibbon - who were said to have been "directing operations" from the flat Pilch Lane flat.

"This time, they were not to be diverted from their intention to kill. One of the men approached the front door of 40 Leinster Road and he kicked it in. Ashley plainly became aware of what was happening. She screamed and fled towards the back door of the house, but the man entered the house and he pursued her.

"Lee Harrison seems to have had an association with the group of which Dusty was part. Whilst at the festival, Sean Zeisz was assaulted and his attackers included Jordan Thompson.
