The Cannabis for Ukraine Festival will raise funds for Ukrainian causes in light of the war, with cannabis vendor specials, giveaways and Ukrainian food all part if the celebration.

It's been nearly eighteen months since Russia's latest invasion of Ukraine, and Rita Tsalyuk doesn't want Coloradans to forget.

The marijuana businesswoman, a native of Ukraine, left the country over thirty years ago. As she finishes the final touches on two of her new dispensaries, she decided to add a slice of home. Park Hill Gardens and Stadium Gardens, two new stores under Tsalyuk's Yuma Way chain, now feature Ukraine-inspired murals, with an unveiling party taking place this weekend at the latter.

The Cannabis for Ukraine Festival at Stadium Gardens will raise funds for Ukrainian causes in light of the war, with cannabis vendor specials, giveaways and Ukrainian food all part if the celebration. "This latest war in Ukraine has taken almost two years, and it's very hard to maintain energy levels as time goes on.
