Canelo Alvarez deservedly beat Gennady Golovkin by unanimous decision on Saturday night in Las Vegas, but controversy lurked once again over the scorecards.
In their first fight in 2017, most believed GGG was very hard done by as the judges scored the bout a draw.The full scorecards have been revealedInCanelo dominated the fight from the very early stages. Golovkin offered little in the first half with the Mexican winning every round on the scorecards of many ringside reporters.
GGG showed a late resurgence as he took control of round nine and made the latter sessions more competitive.
