When Candace Cameron Bure returned to television 12 years ago after a prolonged acting hiatus, her skin wasn’t in great shape. In fact,in 2009, the director repeatedly cut filming so the makeup artist could correct it.
“My pores were also enlarged so the makeup didn’t sit well,” she said. “I just didn’t look my best.” That’s when she called beloved Hollywood dermatologist, Dr. Harold Lancer, and she has religiously used his skincare ever since. Below are the products that Bure says “repaired” her skin, and some additional skincare tips she swears by.The baseline for Bure’s improved skin is Dr. Lancer’s The Method: Polish, Cleanse, and Nourish products, and there are three different versions of each—one for normal to combination skin, one for sensitive, dehydrated skin, and one for oily, congested skin.
