Candace Cameron Bure and her husband, Valeri Bure, have been married for 28 years, and their perfect date night remains simple
The former Full House star spoke with Us Weekly exclusively to promote Great American Family’s Christmas Festival and played the Not-So-Newlywed Game with her husband, Valeri Bure. Cameron Bure, 48, revealed what the ideal night looks like for the two of them.
“The kids are going to get mad at me,” she cautioned before revealing her answer. “I put great restaurant, wine, walk, sex.”Cameron Bure and Bure tied the knot in 1996 and share three kids: daughter Natasha, 26, and sons Lev, 24, and Maksim, 22. Lev married Elliot Dunham in January, and Cameron Bure is already preparing for grandkids.
She and Bure dove deeper into their marriage throughout the game, describing their first date, which was lunch in Santa Monica with Cameron Bure’s Full House costar Lori Loughlin and Bure’s brother. They also revealed that Bure was the one who said “I love you” first. “I always kind of wanted to move fast with everything that we did. I always wanted a family,” he said. “It was not right off the bat, we got to know each other over the phone. We talked on the phone for I think three or four months before we saw each other again. But I remember I had that special feeling in my heart that I do want to say that I love you. And I did.
Great American Family’s Christmas Festival is running now through December 29 at UBS Arena on Long Island. The immersive experience features exclusive screenings, photo opportunities, ice skating, festive craft workshops, holiday-themed culinary delights and beverages as well as celebrity appearances — including one from Santa himself.
