Canandaigua man gets life sentence for 6-year-old boy's murder in South Carolina

An Ontario County man has received a life sentence, without the possibility of parole, for the murder of a 6-year-old boy in South Carolina.

Jerimiah Harley , now 19, of Canandaigua received a life sentence Tuesday, April 16, 2024, for the May 13, 2022 fatal shooting of 6-year-old Winston Hunter in Orangeburg, S.C.

Ethan Anderson, 21, of West Columbia, S.C., pleaded guilty to the same charge and also received a life sentence.
