Ohio State football is actively asking fans to ramp up the home-crowd advantage for Saturday's top-10 matchup against Penn State.
While the Buckeyes’ own Ohio Stadium received nine votes, the Nittany Lions’ Beaver Stadium easily won the poll with almost double that many.
Now Ohio State is actively asking its fans to ramp up their impact for Saturday’s pivotal game between the No. 3 Buckeyes and No. 7 Nittany Lions. The goal: Have the entirety of a raucous crowd in their seats and ready to create a true home-field advantage when the biggest game in college football this weekend kicks off. Ohio State coach Ryan Day said he and athletic director Gene Smith discussed getting the word out to the fan base to help set the tone.“This is one of those games that we’ve got to really create a hostile environment for Penn State — in particular, their offense,” Day said.
The program also released a video on social media, with players imploring fans to be loud, wear scarlet, and of course, add their mobile tickets to their Apple wallets before arrival.October 19, 2023
