After two-year shutdown, Chez Sovan re-emerges as Bayon Temple
After a two-year pandemic closing, Campbell’s Chez Sovan is back in business — asThe rebranding with the name of a famous Angkor Wat temple celebrates the reopening of the Cambodian restaurant on South Bascom Avenue.
The kitchen is again making customers’ favorites, including Amok, a swai fish mousse steamed in banana leaf; Chicken Curry; and Saac-Ang Kebabs of steak, chicken or shrimp marinated in lemongrass, galanga, kaffir, paprika and oyster sauce. New to the menu are individual combination meals, offered all day. The Khmer Box includes a kebab, appetizer, soup, salad and rice, while the Cambodian Plate features steak, pork or chicken with garlic rice, salad and pickled vegetables.
Details: Open from 11 a.m. daily, until 9 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 9:30 p.m. Friday-Saturday at 2425 S. Bascom Ave., Campbell. For takeout, call 408- 628-4363.
