A campaign group calling on Scottish sports teams to stamp out sexual misconduct has met with MSPs for a roundtable discussion on the issue

But the law student driving the campaign, known as Miss J, says her pleas have largely fallen on deaf ears. She claims she has contacted every Premiership and Championship football club as well as rugby, ice hockey and basketball teams, but only two have made any effort to call her back. Scottish Labour West Scotland MSP Paul O'Kane, who organised the Holyrood roundtable, said: "We know a lot of professional clubs don't have sexual misconduct policies or won't show them. But there are teams that clearly want to do the right thing – and today we are saying there is nothing wrong with asking for support to do that.
