James Campbell, 46, died Sunday afternoon after receiving life-saving measures by prison staff and emergency medical services, said correctional center superintendent Lindsy Kendall.
He was declared dead at 1:32 p.m., according to a news release. Campbell was serving a life sentence after being convicted of a Delaware County murder.
