A royal writer has made the claims
Meghan Markle was reportedly given a ‘cruel nickname’ by Queen Consort Camilla. The nickname came after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex resigned from their royal duties in 2020, according to a royal writer.
Reportedly, the claims made about King Charles prompted Camilla to reassure him that he had "done the best he could" as a father, reports The Express. "She found it hard to believe that Meghan would sacrifice her career and independence to serve silently as a team player devoted to the monarchy." He allegedly referred to her as "Tungsten" because like the metal she is "tough and unbending". A source told the Mail on Sunday: "Prince Charles admires Meghan for her strength and the backbone she gives Harry, who needs a tungsten-type figure in his life as he can be a bit of a softie. It's become a term of endearment."
