Cameron Diaz took a decade-long break from Hollywood, focusing on her family and business ventures. She revealed that she had no intention of returning to acting until Jamie Foxx called with an offer for a big action comedy titled 'Back in Action.' Diaz, known for her roles in films like 'Charlie's Angels,' 'There's Something About Mary,' and 'Shrek,' admitted that Foxx's charisma and the prospect of a fun collaboration were too tempting to resist.
\During her hiatus, Diaz launched her own wine company, Avaline, and enjoyed a fulfilling life away from the spotlight. She told 'Still Watching Netflix' that she wasn't keeping up with any kind of training or public appearances. 'I did nothing public. I said no to everything, other than for my wine,' she shared. Diaz emphasized that she was perfectly content with her life, focusing on being a mother and enjoying her day-to-day routine. \'Back in Action,' which was initially delayed due to a health scare involving Foxx, is now set to premiere on Netflix on January 17th. Diaz and Foxx made a joint appearance for the film's promotion in Germany on January 15th. Diaz expressed gratitude for her husband, Benji Madden, for his support and encouragement to return to acting. She acknowledged that it took time to transition back from her domestic life, but with her family's backing, she embraced the opportunity to 'ascend' and pursue her passion for acting once again
