This is the ninth year the Scottsdale resident takes up the mantle of Kris Kringle on the mountain.
Christmas time is here again and Valley holiday favorite Camelback Santa is back too.
"I do it to put a smile on people's face and to do my part to bring Christmastime to the desert," Cressey told The Arizona Republic on Thursday. The merry band of elves helping Cressey on the mile-long trek is made up of volunteers, mostly Camelback hikers, he said.
