New Orleans Saints star defensive end Cam Jordan donated $25,000 to the New Year's Day Tragedy Fund , established to support victims of the terror attack on Bourbon Street . Jordan announced his contribution on social media, urging others to donate to assist the families of those who lost their lives and those who were severely injured.
The Greater New Orleans Foundation created the fund in response to the attack, which saw a man driving a white pickup truck plow into crowds on Bourbon Street, killing at least 15 people and injuring several others. The FBI is investigating the incident as a terroristic act. The attack forced the postponement of the Sugar Bowl, which is now scheduled for 4 p.m. ET at the Caesars Superdome
