Saturday’s fatality is Caltrain’s sixth so far in 2023.
SANTA CLARA — A Caltrain hit and killed a pedestrian Saturday morning just north of the Santa Clara station, officials said.
Train service was temporarily stopped as emergency responders arrived near the station, located at 1001 Railroad Ave.. Transit police reopened the northbound track for slow-moving trains shortly after 11:30 a.m.
