The Caloocan City government gave cash incentives to the city's seven athletes who participated in the 32nd South East Asian (SEA) Games held recently in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. | ManilaBulletin
Mr. Dindo Simpao, officer-in-charge of the Sports Development and Recreation Office, proudly presented on Saturday, June 3, the seven medalists to Caloocan City Mayor Dale Gonzalo "Along" Malapitan and other city officials."Narito po ang mga achievers na ipinagmamalaki natin dito sa Caloocan.
The medalists are Jayson Cayari of Barangay 171, who won a bronze medal in the Jiu-jitsu men's duo competition; brothers Harvey and Karl Navarro of Barangay 86 and Justine Perez of Barangay 160, who won a bronze medal in electronic sport Crossfire; Ivan Agustin of Barangay 171, who got a silver medal in Karate Men's 84kg Kumite; and Jerard Jacinto of Barangay 15, who won in men's 50-meter backstroke swimming competition, bringing home silver and bronze medals.
"Congratulations sa inyong lahat! Nais po naming kilalanin at parangalan ang pag-uuwi niyo ng karangalan sa Caloocan, nagpapasalamat ako sa bawat isa sa inyo sa taas noong pagbibitbit ng ating lungsod pati na ang bandila ng Pilipinas ," the mayor said.
