Callum, the British EV startup, has finally revealed the interior of its upcoming Skye electric SUV . The interior features metallic trim, including large pieces on the door panels that echo the exterior design. A central display screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity is present, but the raised center console incorporates physical controls like rotary knobs, and the instrument cluster houses traditional round gauges.
The Skye's body panels are made from flax, but the interior is trimmed in leather from supplier Bridge of Weir. Designers chose white upholstery to contrast the orange exterior. Cowhide covers the front bucket seats, a removable rear bench seat, and even the glovebox. Callum estimates the Skye will deliver 170 miles of range, although it's unclear what testing cycle that's based on. The company also expects 0-60 mph acceleration in under 4.0 seconds. Pricing starts at around $70,000 at current exchange rates. Callum plans to offer 'dynamic' and 'capable' specifications. The latter, which is aimed at more vigorous off-road use, will be revealed in 2025
