The Hoops suffered a shock last at the first hurdle of their domestic cup campaign as Kilmarnock defeated the holders at the last 16 stage to bring any hopes of a Treble to an end.
Callum McGregor says Celtic need to 'stick together and find solutions' after their grip on the Viaplay Cup was brought to an end.
Celtic skipper McGregor concedes that the performance was simply not good enough from the Scottish champions and that they must learn the lesson from the defeat. He says the only way they will get better is if they stick by each other as they continue to adapt from Ange Postecoglou's regime to the new chapter under the returning Rodgers.
“It’s not easy. You come here and you have to fight and find a way to win the game, find the quality moment to win the game, and we didn’t do that. We didn’t have enough quality, so that’s disappointing.
