Call Me Kat is a sitcom based on the British one called Miranda, created by Miranda Hart. Mayim Bialik stars as Kat, a single 39-year-old professor at the University of Louisville. Kat quits her job as a professor after her father's passing and decides it's time for her to do things her way. Kat takes the money her parents set aside for her wedding and instead opens a cat cafe in her city of Louisville. Kat will navigate a new world, a new career, and all the pitfalls that come with them in this situational comedy about a woman approaching forty trying to break out of the single life and find happiness her own way.
