More public toilets are needed in Glasgow with a lack of suitable provision just now, according to a city councillor.
She called for a “strategic look” at where toilets are, which she believes will have a positive impact on how people are able to enjoy parks and public spaces in the city. In her motion she is asking councillors to carry out a review of toilets, their opening hours and their locations in relation to parks and public spaces.”She has called for an awareness programme, to improve accessibility for people with mobility problems, and wants to ensure that any charges for using public toilets are removed.
