California's new electric bike incentive program is offering up to a $2,000 voucher for the purchase of a new e-bike.

The California E-Bike Incentive Project, which offers a voucher up to $2,000 towards the purchase of a new e-bike, begins accepting applications Thursday.The program seeks to expand and promote zero-emissions transportation options in the state, keeping in mind "residents who need the boost the most," officials with the California Air Resources Board said.
