A California woman allegedly swiped products from Sephora and Lululemon — and then jumped into the trunk of her Tesla in a failed bid to hide from cops last week, according to surreal bodycam footage.
When cops reached the scene, a citizen told them the suspect got into a white Tesla and then crawled into the trunk.Alleged thief Emely Yanagida claimed she scurried into the back of the luxe car on Wednesday because she was “scared” after Irving police officers popped the truck and slapped handcuffs on her.Yanagida, 35, grabbed up about $600 worth of Sephora products and then left the beauty product store despite loss prevention attempting to stop her around 3 p.m., authorities alleged.
