Writings belonging to Glenn Litton expressed a desire to combat any U.S. involvement in such 'genocide,' Butte County Sheriff Kory Honea said Thursday.
The California sheriff’s office investigating the recent shooting at a Christian school said Thursday the suspect likely considered the attack a “countermeasure” to any involvement by the U.S. in a "genocide" against Palestinians.
Honea suggested during a press conference that Litton targeted the school, which is operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church, because of how the U.S. has involved itself in a conflict in the Middle East. According to the sheriff, that information reads, “Countermeasure involving child executions has now been imposed at the Seventh Day Adventist school in California, United States by The International Alliance.”
