The Heisman winner and presumptive top pick in the NFL Draft drew rounds of praise from some and criticism from others after he cried in his mother’s arms.

WFAN host Al Dukes isn’t sure that Caleb Williams could make it in the bright lights of the Big Apple.

The USC quarterback, who was last season’s Heisman winner and has spent much of this season as the presumptive top pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, drew rounds of praise from some and criticism from others aftermight need to consider taking a quarterbackRecco agreed, saying, “He’s half into the stands — leaning into the crowd, the mom’s holding a sheet of paper over his head. What a disaster.”

Later in the show, they were talking about how Deion Sanders’ Colorado team loses seemingly every week now, and Dukes interjected, “At least they’re not crying in the stands.”“Everyone was like, ‘Look, this is the guy I want for my team, look how invested he is,'” Dukes said in an exaggerated tone of voice.

He added, “We’re starting to see the children of what I call the ‘Nice Father Generation,'” he joked.“To me, personally, we want our players to be vulnerable. We want our players to be up front. We want our players to show emotion. When they do show emotion, now they become targets for everyone to now start throwing darts at them because they are emotional, as they call them ‘super sensitive,'” McNabb said.

“I didn’t have a problem with it. People are talking about it should hurt his draft status, which it should not hurt his draft status. Because on the field, he’s one of the best players in college football. He’s a leader, he prepares well, and he’s out there playing from the pocket and outside the pocket which he’s a premiere talent.
