The 29-year-old comedian was born in Orange County, raised in Temecula and briefly attended CSUSM before dropping out to become a full-time comic
Temecula-raised stand-up comedian Taylor Tomlinson will soon be the only woman hosting a late-night television series when she takes the helm of the new CBS series, 'After Midnight,' which will air following 'The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.' Stephen Colbert said he would be an executive producer for the show, which premieres early next year, and announced Tomlinson as its host.
Tomlinson said on 'Stephen Colbert' that she was most excited about having her first 'real job' since starting stand-up comedy at 16 years old. During her interview, Colbert showed a screenshot from the Tuesday night Zoom when he first told Tomlinson that she had gotten the gig, her eyes wide and mouth agape on the teleconference screen. In addition to soon being the only woman on the late-night circuit, she'll also be the youngest.
