Re “New report says Cal State University has $1.5B funding gap, urges raising tuition” :
Additionally, is it the university’s responsibility to provide remedial education and mentoring that taxpayer-funded K-12 and community colleges are designed to achieve? The entire education system, K-12 through public universities, must be held accountable. Do we have any elected officials with the courage to address this?Nonplussed again as the bigger spenders on the left convinced the big spenders on the right to raise the country’s debt limit.
We have been increasing our national debt since 1957 and things are made worse because of government borrowers from the Social Security trust fund, among other charades.
