Cal Quantril will get the start for Game 4 at Progressive Field.
CLEVELAND, Ohio — Cal Quantrill has been asked about his unbeaten streak in home starts so many times that reporters are running out of different ways to bring it up.
Quantrill’s second playoff start comes at a time when the Guardians have perfected the art of playing small, fast and relentless. He said Cleveland’s ability to stick to its keys will have a huge impact on the direction of the series. “You can choose to look at anything as advantageous or disadvantageous,” Quantrill said. “We’re young, we’re excited, we don’t care if we have to play four games in four days — we’re ready to rumble.”
